Sonya Sia, DVM

EMERGENCY + CRITICAL CARE

Dr. Sonya Sia was born and raised in San Francisco. She finished her undergraduate degree at UC Davis, went to summer school abroad in Australia prior to getting her degree, went to Ross University in St. Kitts and completed her clinical year at Purdue University to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2013.

After graduation, Sonya completed a rotating internship at Veterinary Specialty Hospital in San Diego and a specialty internship in surgery at Aspen Meadow Veterinary Specialty and Emergency in Colorado.

Outside of work, she loves to travel and go on new adventures. She has skydived twice, bungee jumped once and always makes time for camping, hiking and rock climbing. She also is a dachshund mommy and a SF Giants baseball fan!
